It is just pure burden to think of attempting an examination that allures over lakhs of student to appear for hundreds or thousands of seats in lush offices, under the AC, attending the customers suavely by sitting behind the desktop . Yes, we are talking about the highly acclaimed, prestigious jobs at banking sector. It is probable that somewhere your effort to outshine, or shine out and be selected in IBPS is becoming a bit hard. Well, its not that the blame lies over your lack of attention over your strong subjects and going after the weaker ones, or your silly mistakes that you do out of hurry. Although the blame may lie on the technique that you may have been undertaking.

What is the “True” meaning of Diwali ?


-An insight into the most popular festival of India.


Diwali is not just a word for us Indians, it is chaos to some, burning a hole in the pockets to some, and the time of getting showered by blessings from the currency goddess to some. All in all, in reality the motivation for observing this festival and the real fervor of diwali to most of us are the sweet and savory delicacies. Well, is it not the case for every other festival we celebrate? Wonder, was the situation same, when people were actually celebrating diwali for the first time, when Ram returned from his “Vanvaas”, conquering the evil? I guess, this was more like it actually. As in, people were partying, they were worshiping out of happiness, thanking the heavens for returning their king, neither the dark event of Sita being tested on fire for proving her purity is of course not taken into consideration, nor a day is celebrated to condemn it. Oh, wait, we can have that kind of day too ! Condemning Day, our politicians, after gaining a kilo or two after Diwali, will lose it all on this day.

Well, leaving aside all the wishful thinking, lets get back to discussing the real meaning of diwali. On that note, does everybody remember hearing people talk about the “True meaning of Christmas”, “the real fervor of Christmas”?, have we heard the same about Diwali? Uh, no! Probably because we are too busy buying clothes, crackers, preparing sweets and texting each other, and not to forget clicking pictures for social media. Still, to the young and the elderly, and to the working gentry (wouldn't dare to count them, the working class, in normal league as they are fuming because of recession already), this particular festival lets them take leave, meet family and have a jolly time enjoying each others company, which has become a once-in-a-year phenomena.

It is a good thing that Diwali still includes some basic things, more like regulations, to be celebrated, performing lakshmi puja, bursting crackers and exchanging gifts. Aah, gifts...fond childhood memories of receiving a bald dadaji sketched paper, that would mean nothing to us, and slurp-y, greedy memories of the year gone by, when receiving the “bald dadaji sketched paper (now, Gandhi ji), on diwali meant being an “Ambani” for two days.

In another setting though, it is the gifts market of diwali, that sets the commerce running in India's veins. Shops all decked up with numerous things that vie for attention as long as on shelf, as once they are bought, you know you spent out of your budget. Well, today, as the options of gifting has gone a notch higher with personalized gifts, you and me are happy receiving relative's and friend's self-hussain-ed graphic t-shirts, coffee mugs and etc. A way better option than receiving out of date, sale bought clothes and items ( bought in order to curb their budget on gifting other people). Well, not to blame anyone, but with recession, India cannot love its relatives more than how much they do (the amount of love is questionable, questionably low) already.

India is not in the position to celebrate, to be talking straight, but as we Indians are hopelessly optimistic, these times bring out the best in us. After being looted by the “Gora's” we learned how to live in meager and when we achieved a good status, we learned to splurge too. In all the times though, never, would anybody have heard that the fervor of any festival has shown weak trends in the accounts register. Yes, needless to say, our ability to celebrate our position, no matter what it is, is the real fervor of festivals.

Indians may not be stuffed up (at least not all of us), we may not apparently have a living standard, we may not be seen sitting in clubs as soon as office hours end, but man we splurge on our festivities, and we do it like nobody else. That is how the term- “Big Fat Indian x-y-z” was coined isn't it? We do it all, Patiala style. Recession, political disturbance, natural calamity, come one-come all, we will stand together light diyas, gorge on sweets, buy new clothes, purchase gift items, celebrate diwali, and do everything more enthusiastically than the year gone by. May the queen live, May our green note “Dada ji” prosper in currency notes and may we be celebrating Diwali like ever before.

Ten points to help you get over lethargy and look like a million dollars.



There are times when we get very strict with ourselves regarding our weight, complexion and over all style quotient. To most of us, this is just a passing phase, a month or two in the gym, an hour or two in the parlor, an hour or two in the mall and we have reached our goal. The next moment we become the most pathetically dressed, dry skinned girls with every day counting as a bad hair day. While you can see the other kind of girls who step in the house exactly the way they stepped out of it. We wonder whether she was standing outside the door when she said she will be going to the disc or party. Well, they do go places, they are dressed to nine always and have their make up on like second skin. Well then, what is the reason behind the other kind of women? Is it lethargy, laziness, or perhaps they look into mirrors less often.

It is a basic assumption that no women born, can want and not be tidy. Women who go through this condition are identified to be under stress in their subconscious mind. It is seen that working women undergo this phase a lot. Not to forget lactating new mothers, as well as girls who go through a depressive teen. Is there some way in which the phase can be prolonged or it stays. Yes, there are. First of all it should be noted that this kind of phase has psychological therapy interference too, be it administering on a self level, but there is. Here is how you can cope up with the situation at hand-

-First of all take a depression test, an anxiety test and a personality test from a good psychological study website online. There are tests available online for free. If the score indicates that you are depressed enough to seek attention, then go seek it.

-Secondly, throw out all your old ill fitting clothes, ones and for all. A tuck here and a tuck there wont help the dress to look as new. Bring in bright colored stylish clothes, and a pair of shorts, if you wanted them to wear since a long time. Don't have the body, well, every size is available nowadays. You will automatically draw motivation to loose those love handles.

-Thirdly, take yoga or meditation classes instead of opting for rigorous gym routines. You can also take up cycling and award yourself with the scenery of the nearest green patch around your vicinity. There is no definition to rejuvenation better than the above.

-Fourthly, try to not go online on facebook, twitter, Myspace more than once in a day. Stop chatting all together, and tell anybody who has something to talk about, to come over at your place. Share a coffee and talk it out.

-Fifth, mark the calendar for parlor days. It is not recommended though, but a regular visit to the parlor might also result in a more groomed you. Increasing your overall confidence.

-Sixth, go for a holiday bi-weekly. Holiday would mean a day out in the open woods, by the beach, towards historical places of relevance or such, preferably alone or with a friend.

-Seventh, indulge in talking to yourself standing in front of mirror, most doubts, stressful situations are because you don't know what is going around and why it is that way.

-Eighth, if you are in a relationship, try and analyze your stand. Is your relationship expectation levels that are not met with causing stress subconsciously? If yes, think is it worth your stress? Well, lets be clear no stress is worth, talk to that person or simply cut the cords off.

-Ninth, bath twice daily, it has been proved that bathing time is the most rejuvenating time. Gift yourself that time, feel good about it.

-Tenth, imbibe high fiber food in your diet. If you are unable to do so, take supplements like “Isabghol”, “Wheat grass juice/powder” and etc, on a long term basis. Have fiber as it helps to absorb toxins and helps the body to get rid of it too. You can eat anything that you like, while keeping calorie dense foods in the no-no window.

All the points above, if followed religiously should be able to get you out of the lethargy or mental stagnancy phase that you are going through. Your will to be tip-top and look beautiful will rise again. As you must have noticed, that no strenuous or out of the way things have been mentioned here. You can very well adopt all the points in your lifestyle and get used to it. Go on, you are totally worth to give those tip-top girls a chase for their part of limelight. 

Can the fad of losing weight the simple way be true?



We all are very much aware of where our weight measuring scale is pointing towards. It is high time that we act accordingly, and check if the marker is on the right side of scale or not. If yes, then worry, and if not then worry a lot without fail. Yes, if for once the marker is towards the wrong side of the weighing scale, one should be very worried. As even a kilo of weight can result in so many body ailment if not taken care off. Ideal weight should not be messed up with, though if one is three of four kilos above the scale, that is not considered that bad either. Ideal weight is determined by the height, body structure that you have and all kinds of medical conditions that one may or may not posses. Like being healthy and being fit is different, similarly, the issue over being of ideal weight and being slightly over that is okay or not, the debate remains.

Losing weight is not only the best solution towards solving all kinds of health problems that one might go through, it is also the easiest way to change your appearance. One might spend thousands and sometimes lakh on getting a good makeover, but then after a day or two, the person is back to basic, similarly if an overweight or obese person opts for such a thing, no satisfaction can be guaranteed to him or her by any kind of professional. It is better to lose those flab  rather than finding ways to hide them.

We all want to lose weight fast. Someone has to attend the marriage of a dear friend, while some of us have to go to buy that one dress that hangs on the window of the most coveted shop. Now, marriage of a friend cannot be called until one loses weight, and nor the dress be booked to not be sold to anyone else, in this matter losing weight fast is the only thing one can do. Though the catch here is that, though that is not at all possible, it is still possible to be in shape. A woman's body is generally guided to be Pear shaped, Hourglass shaped, bell shaped or Apple shaped. Now, if flab grows on any kind of body shape, it is the belly, the waist and the back that takes the most. It is simple that if something be worn that makes them look shapely, and in turn also helps to trim down the look, and be comfortable at the same time, well then, nothing better than that.

Ways that one can adapt to be in shape fast

Wear shaping garments like fit britches- wearing garments that help shape the body is very important  It should be remembered that the garments should not be very tight so as to stop blood circulation, but on the other hand they should not be that loose, to not provide shape at all.

Eating healthy food- Eating healthy is very important  having fiber rich food throughout the day will cause the body to flush out all the toxins , clear out the colon, and the whole system, so that everything that is being eaten be fully used up by the body. Toxin accumulation cause the body to react in different ways, getting rid of them will help the juices to work their way and help one lose fat.

Mild exercising routine- An exercising schedule that is not too rigid and not too loose can be adopted into the daily life, so as to make the whole processes of losing weight a bit seriousness and provocation. It is essential that right kind of clothes like fit britches be worn so as to accentuate the process of fat burning the easy way

Fasting once or twice a week- Fasting helps the body to get much required rest  from all the kinds of processes the body goes through 24x7. It is good to have liquids the entire day, so that the body doesn't have to work too much, in order to facilitate the body processes.

TIME & TIDE - waits for none- TRUE !!!

Truly said, time waits for none and especially now a days That the age is running too fast for all to catch up except for those who run or should we say trying to run …!!!
Whatever be it... time management is the problem …being faced by generations together ….not only students but also to those who are to complete assignments , the young , the adults  who are to meet deadlines… and so on .

Ever thought that what would be the probable reasons that we are finding it real hard to cope up with our time… and end up wanting 30 instead of 24 hours? Probably that also would take time I suppose..!!! The main problem is thinking pattern nowadays adopted by we people…we think too much about relationships (unwanted ones), we give importance to quantity than quality (accept when buying Levis or a Flying Machine!!), we give too much time to partying, and we are too sentimental nowadays …it may seem too weird but yes …if you just look down the lane you probably wont find this kind of problem. One should not only try to control them selves emotionally but also see that they give time to themselves at the end of the day to think that what they really are up to!!!

It’s not bad to lose that emotional thing but keeping it at bay when working is very much important.
Even seeing the happenings at the corporate house`s  you would probably see the need to fill up the emotional cavity within one self …people try to get In relationships  and here is were time management takes a back seat another thing being squeezed into your already pack schedule is of course a head ache ..and you just can’t help it when it worsens further with you being involved in that relationship more than ever. Now this whole was the explanation for those who were wildly swinging their heads when they were reading the above lines. And now the steady headers chance .

Whatever we do of the life it  must sincerely reflect when we see ourselves down the lane after reaching a stable position in life or say after 10 years from now…think always that.when ever you would have a chance to look back on your yester years you should always feel light and happy about it …and no doubt you shall feel a different current in u while you do whatever you want to.

In the present, may be if the youngsters follow this rule they may get to see themselves more responsible for whatever things they do. And what is better than that!!!Things should be taken in stride …not only this include jealousy, hatred, competition, back biting…and the list never ends ….whoa! We forgot …the big “F”~~ failure~~ my friends is the sweetest word to me …cause it smells of another chance to make it all even better, a possibility to do things in a new style, and above all to see the value of time with more maturity …the essence of the whole piece of writing as I put it…

In short is to really tell my friends that by buying a watch for a 10,000  bucks wont easily bribe the time and it just wont let you over take it …this life and time is a race my friends and you just cant afford to morning walk every time ,go through the main focus of the problem you are facing and you will see money,future,thrust for superiority its main point .Try to START taking things on their face ,managing them and why not to just solve or at least try to solve that particular point u find is the kick start ??? And you shall hello!! Win the whole race …!!

"BALANCE - BALANCE" - Huh! Really ?

Its all about balancing equations isn’t it???
When we talk of equations we talk of balancing
them or proving them and this thing to say we are
taught right from class 5 onwards ... we must have
been genius in it until now . Isn’t it?

Now if we compare the two equations
i.e. the gujjars and the women!!! . What??? really???...are they comparable?
Well, i say yes [see, don’t we and the politicians often talk of
bringing the other classes equivalent of the society!!! ] history supports me in saying that before independence in developed nations. Neither women nor any other caste where given reservations.
So it comes round in India as…
Before independence:-
Women= no reservations, gujjars=reservations (untouchable’s)
After independence:-
Women = no reservations, gujjars=reservations(O.B.C-since 1952)
After 60 years of independence
Women= still no reservations, gujjars= fighting for even more reservation!!!

Condition in these years:-

Before independence
Women =gujjars =bad condition, low standard of living
After independence:-
Gujjars =worst conditions. Women’s=still more worst conditions
After 60 years of independence
Gujjars =apt conditions. Women’s= being compared and considered equal to men!!

Now, how come women who are still fighting for reservations are in a
better condition and the strong willed, heavily muscled gujjars are in a not- so- upholsted position ? We know that, it is the inner feeling of achievement ,the inner push of a vow  to do something, which provoked the women to pass and surpass  the gujjars .

Didn’t the gujjars noticed that in spite of the fact that she’s still rebuked in the parliament by those who wish to`` help one and help all” for the 33% reservation grant …outside the honorable place…the same people puke and see them as a potential threat when in front of the honorable chair.

Keeping in mind that until now the gujjars are included in the OBC
genre [ which means that they are more privileged than the women ]
are they really not  taking on the view that by having sheer will and
determination [and not reservation !!! ] the women are where they wanted to be.


The equations above just show the status of both, that nor, have
been privileged enough. If talking of gujjars  we talk of a community were both men and women are present. Is it not their responsibility that they see to their community as a child who has to be taken care of as women has taken of herself !

It is not necessary to always look up to government for each and every problem which sprouts up in locality or to cry and to throw tantrums like a child not taken care of . Should see the women’s actually, or better think of the women who ultimately takes care of all no one cared for her up till now .But still she cared for all, she studied facing hurdles and finally built a niche for her self in the society
isn’t it ?


The government in the eyes of a teenager is a mere service provider .They think the only thing which bugs its service providing capacity is the human controlled manipulation work . Other wise to them it seems as a paying ,non responsive , argument provoking , jokeable piece of institution
So, how come gujjars and even the women’s are so much relying on the government to do good to them . When things are controlled better by ourselves then why to drop  tears on the waterproofed  shoulder .

It should be remembered that never had any institution held back the forms just because
they were marked S.C/S.T/gujjars or o.b.c. and  yes neither women. so it
would be unfair to say that no opportunity is being given to any of the “equation statements”.
Yes, but as earlier said that those who know how to make hay when the sun shines only resides with a glitter under it.


Or as goes the darwins theory… so very rehearsed... time and  again…
“Survival of the fittest”… and here as goes the equations above that
pushing yourself to the hilt is necessary…
cause some or the other way pushing your self pays…and that sure is proved!!!

Gazing Still :O

GAZING STILL????

writing is not something which everyone does.....specially in this age of technology were jabbering over is made so easy with wireless devices sticking to u every time, anytime .writing is one thing which u will do when your teacher almost sits upon you to complete your notes and get them checked ....ever noticed how we pound upon such thing when our need for it arises???? For example all you will need to do is write a letter lo and behold all the time you were busy in [*bunking*] classes ...you are in a matter of second excused citing your unusual type of excuse you have requested your teacher to excuse to read ...as in ---"excuse me mam" and passed on the letter in a fashion as if you are almost into confessing your love for her in a letter....and now in your minds you thank your mumma back home for whacking you hard to complete your ABCD homework!!! Hah! Isn’t it??? so this was writing to save your asses going red !!! You loved penning every bit of it!!!

And now what about writing plane, simple, thoughtful piece, something which makes you think, imagine such things you would never probably dread doing, going or making it in real life (that is in case if u imagine yourself ending up with Angelina in bed!!!) .writing just doesn’t give that high any more i guess...i mean at least at one time it used to for sure! Otherwise why would Shakespeare waste his time on writing plays and not spend time with his wife...at that time may be Rakhi Savant wasn’t hogging our tv screens or Omar Abdullah wasn’t shouting what good and bad he is up to or adrenaline wasn’t going up and down watching MAN-U play or Sachin hitting a yet another ton !!!There were green, green, greener pastures there was tranquility in air that made men sit and pen down all .what should be done to get back that enthu among ourselves???? ....{and come-on don’t give that tree saving, environment saving crap...not all the 1.3 billion Population is sitting to write after all} of course we can’t bring all those blessed things back but still penning down is a way of self interpretation of thoughts the much needed time for OURSELF`S ...isn’t that thing something which we all need???i mean see the poet in you which peeps out when you are down with a loveria ? Or the writer in you which starts scribbling non-stop [irrespective of where the pen is going and were the paper] in exams?? My teacher always told ..."beta at the end of the day you have to learn not write your own ramayan every time” the teacher by ramayan meant the writing i did depending on how i felt about the particular answer at that particular time!!!...and the result being my answer sheet screwed up by the nib of a deadly red pen by writing the word "absurd , too long , unnecessary" i dint understand then ...i mean they wanted us to write ...i wrote -then came the dialogue "teacher hamari bhavnao ko kabh samjhenge?" [When will teachers understand the feeling behind the writing he he ] and I cudnt agree more. so, what we need is a reason, an occasion, a compulsion .Okay so what’s the big deal ...if we can sometimes shamefully and sometimes in a shameless way lie to others what’s the deal if we persuade ourselves into sitting and penning down once or twice a week ?it can be a stomach aching gossip, your vain thing for the Armani shades or even criticizing your beautiful neighbor which you of course can’t do it on his/her face- hey its for "your -own-self" come-on stop –JUST reading.. Start PENNING! I bet you will be clear in mind and at your best every time .
